Questionnaires

Questionnaires are an evaluation technique that use a list of questions and/or statements. These can be on paper and pencil or digital format and they can help gain valuable insights for product, system, and service usability. Questionnaires are usually (but not always) based on standardized scales that provide objectivity, replicability, quantification, economy, communication, and scientific generalization (Lewis, 2002). A list of usability questionnaires can be found below.

  • Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ)

  • Questionnaire for User Interface Satisfaction (QUIS)

  • Computer User Satisfaction Inventory (CUSI)

  • Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ)
